Logan Walden

Picture
Logan Walden was born in Northern Kentucky in 1986 and was raised in rural southern Ohio. His father, Christopher B. Walden, paints wildlife for a living and his mother, Joan Angst, exposed him and his brothers to as many creative outlets as possible during their youth. Art, music, dance, travel, improv comedy, and many hours spent using their imaginations outside was routine for Logan and his brothers. Logan’s father helped pave the path for his artistic career by teaching him and his brothers the fundamental of drawing at an early age.

Destined for a creative field, Logan studied film at Full Sail University and worked in the film industry for 7 years in Florida and California.  He’s worked on major motion pictures like Transformers 3, reality shows like The Bachelor, and music videos for independent and major artists such as Tiesto and The Black Keys. 2010 proved to be a year of change for Logan as he explored the world of Music and Art Festivals, such as Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Burning Man and others.  Exposure to the new level of art performed by the visual artists inspired him to transition from working in film, to learning graphic design and painting as a visual artist. In 2012 Logan made the leap from Los Angeles back to his hometown, West Elkton, Ohio, to study under his father using acrylics.  Landing a graphic design job for an ad agency came quicker than expected and Walden began his new career as an in-house designer for Platinum Marketing Group in Cincinnati where he grew to be a professional designer over the next three years. Designing by day and painting by night, Logan quickly broke into the Cincinnati live art scene in 2013 when Essential Productions accepted his request to paint at a local concert.  Since the first EP show, Logan has been involved as a live painter, Gallery Coordinator, Art Director, Installation builder and DJ in various festivals and concerts throughout the Midwest and West Coast. Logan’s obsession with techno and house music landed him the roll as Art Director for an event group named Freshlist, which is now one of Cincinnati’s prime outlets for the underground EDM and Art scene. In 2016 Logan set out on his own as a freelance Graphic Designer, Art Director and Visual Artist.

Since Logan launched his own art and design business he has painted live at major festivals around the country such as Burning Man, Electric Forest, Desert Hearts, Lucidity Festival, Reggae on the River, Resonance and many more. He has designed graphics for numerous clients, big and small, including the rising DJ and music producer, Manic Focus. Logan still resides in his home town in Ohio where he continues his art and design career. He also works sales and online promotions for his father’s wildlife art business. Together, Logan and his father work on innovating ways to thrive off of their art.
