"Introduction to Sacred Sexuality"
No matter what your personal choices regarding sex and sexuality are, this introduction course offers an opening of conversation and practice. It begins with intention, closely followed by willingness to experience moment-to-moment shifts within the body. A combination of movement, group and partner exercises, consent, critical conversation, sensuality, and energetic connection. Essentially, bringing consciousness and mindfulness to sex and sexuality—both with partner(s) and self.
"Emotional Release Technique"
Through identifying emotions as they come up, real time, and acknowledging them, versus pushing them down, energy can be moved, and then released. Most of us live our lives stuffing emotions from events and experiences and that stuffing builds up in the body and mind, manifesting as dis-ease: chronic pain, anxiety, internal organs not functioning at their highest capacity. These simple techniques can be practiced daily and support clearing the body and mind of what you’re holding onto.
Briana Cribeyer is a certified facilitator and life coach, specializing in intimacy, healing arts, and transitions. She has spent much of the past decade working in social services as well as non-profits and has been trained in conflict resolution, non-violent communication, and trauma awareness. She holds dear that "everything is an invitation." Always working with the agenda of the participant attending, versus anyone feeling forced or held to a specific outcome.
Guiding people through the use of mind and body connection, she harnesses what lives fully inside of each individual, encouraging and empowering them to look deep within themselves to uncover their truth. Breath, movement, awareness, and action are key components to the work that she facilitates with groups and individuals, in both corporate and spiritual retreat settings (in-person and online). She is as comfortable wildin’ out, shouting and dancing with the moon, as she is curled up in meditation, or problem solving in a board room.
Briana has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Race, Culture, Power and Sexual Behavior, as well as Natural Resources and Sustainability from the University of New Hampshire. She began her study of sexual behavior with sociologist, Dr. Jean Elson which sparked her interest in that field. More recently, she studied with somatic and transformational trainer, Krista Petty Raimer, completing a year-long training, and is currently apprenticing under the guidance of tantra and sacred sexuality teacher, Laurie Handlers, founder of The Butterfly Workshop.
She combines her skills of facilitation, love and passion for creating healthy sexual relating, and creates safe spaces for all who attend her events.
