"21st Century Shamanism"
What picture comes to mind when you hear the term Shaman? When most people hear the word “Shaman” they envision a Native American male dancing around a fire. That may have been an accurate description many years ago, but what does a Shaman look like today? Shaman’s past would live a life of soloise and commune with nature, the elements, the directions, and the ancestors. But life today is very different from traditional Native lifestyles, so how does a Shaman practice in the 21st Century? We will be discussing Shamanic traditions of old and how those practices transfer into today’s world. We will also be exploring some of the basic skills known by most during Native times but not regularly taught in 2018. Everyone can do Shamanic work, and many do it on a daily basis without realizing that’s what they’re doing. Come learn how Shamanism has evolved in the 21st Century.
Dr. Clara Bayer is a doctor of Naturopathy, Certified Natural Healthcare Professional, Digestive Health Specialist, Registered and Board Certified Polarity Practitioner and Holistic Iridologist. She is also a Holistic Health Educator, Reiki Master/Teacher, public speaker, Spiritual Advisor, and Ordained Minister and teaches native and Shamanic Practices.
Clara has known since a young age that she was sensitive to energy and Spirit. She uses her gifts of Spiritual communication and native trainings to help individuals find peace and healing on all levels. She has always had a love of Spiritual work, but it was during her Shamanic training many years ago that she developed a passion for soul retrieval work and past life healing. “When we understand that these experiences can play a vital role in our intent for this lifetime, we can begin to understand this life experience in a new light. Where there has been soul fragmentation or past traumas that are yet to be healed, they can have a large impact in our current lives and relationships. Soul/Spiritual healing is one aspect of healing that most people in our conventional times don’t give much thought to. It can, however, be the most powerful work that one can do. “ Clara also offers a path of the Shaman training course. It is in this teaching that she finds some of her greatest fulfillment. She believes that the passing of these teachings on to the next generation is one of the greatest gifts she has to offer.
