RISIK
Risik is a DJ/producer and graphic designer from Columbus, Ohio. Born in Rochester NY, Risik was in marching and concert band from the age of 7 and played piano even before that. She was introduced to DJing in 2012 shortly after discovering electronic music and she said it changed her life forever. She started producing in 2017 when DJing just wasn’t enough. She's been making music everyday since she first opened Ableton.
Risik has had the opportunity to open for some of her favorite artists (Rezz, Bleep Bloop, Sayer, Sumthin Sumthin, and Great Dane, to name a few).
She also manages Airplane Mode, which is a collection of music curated by artists and musicians to help cope with anxiety, depression and stress. The group features playlists bi-weekly showcasing music that artists listen to when they’re dealing with their own personal anxieties, and shares ways they deal beyond music.
