Workshop #1: "Kundalini Yoga"
Kundalini is the energy within you that allows you to look, feel, and act to the best of your ability. In this class, we use powerful breathing techniques, postures, movements, and mantras to help you experience the rising of your Kundalini. This practice is accessible to all levels, and no great flexibility is required, however an open mind is important! This yoga involves periods of exertion designed to strengthen your body, mind, and willpower, balanced with blissful relaxation and meditation accompanied by spiritual music. We borrow from a collection of over 1000 kriyas or sets taught in the tradition of Yogi Bhajan PhD, so we have consistency as well as variety. Kundalini yoga is detoxifying and works on the circulatory, respiratory, nervous, and lymphatic systems as well as the energetic centers of the body or chakras. Come and clear away the garbage from your body and mind to reveal the jewel of your true, blissful self!
